Foundation Initiatives
The Mekong Descent Foundation is actively raising the profile of the Mekong cascade dam related issues amongst the global community by developing a range of mass media products that draw attention to the natural and cultural heritage of the Mekong basin and the threat posed to this heritage by the Mekong Cascade project with the goal of ensuring the dam builders adequately mitigate the impacts of their dams on the peoples and environments down stream.
Initiatives are divided into two catagories, those that have been commenced already and those that we are seeking support to commence.
